Blue Sky Power operates 400kW roof and ground mounted solar systems on the University’s campus at it’s LEED Gold Wellness Center. The University selected Blue Sky Power pursuant to an RFP for a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Blue Sky Power prepared usage and savings analysis for the University. Blue Sky Power financed the project with a New York based equity fund and utilized Federal and State grants and tax credits available for funding the University’s Solar Energy Project. Blue Sky Power held regular working group meetings with the University, engineers, contactor and the University’s energy consultant and utilized our Project Development and Management Plan to keep the project moving timely. Blue Sky Power operates the GCU Solar Energy Project under a 15 year agreement and manages all aspects of the Project.
